The Telos TR2 Bikepack can be a little tricky to fit into the supplied bike bags.
One of the key design goals was to create low-profile bags that could be mounted on different parts of a mountain bike (the frame, fork, handlebars, or rack). Because of this low-profile design, the fit is intentionally snug:
- One bag holds the inner tent and pegs
- The other bag holds the rainfly and poleset
This tighter fit helps keep the bags compact and bike-friendly, but it can take a little practice to pack everything in smoothly.
Packing tip: Fold and roll the inner tent and rainfly – don’t stuff them. Use the bike bags as your width guide when folding, then roll the fabric to fit. The bike bags have an air-permeable base, which lets you compress the tent fabric once it’s inside. This means you can fold the tent a little longer and thinner, then use the side buckles to cinch everything down securely.
