Sea to Summit sleeping bag / travel liners do not have side zippers
This is because our liners have primarily been successful because of their light weight and small packed volume - a full-length zipper would add significantly to both.
We have tested other types of closures (including hook-and-loop closures), but none have proved suitable for use with the fabrics used in our liners, or easy enough to operate in the dark.
If getting out of the liner in the dark is a concern, it's worth knowing that since 2024, our Reactor, Reactor Extreme, Reactor Fleece and Breeze Mummy Liners all have short shoulder openings and a drawcord opening in the footbox. If you need to get up during the night, you can slide your feet out through the footbox opening and your arms out through the shoulder openings and 'wear' the liner.
