The down used in Sea to Summit sleeping bags is batch-tested by the third-party International Down and Feather Laboratory (IDFL).
The IDFL issues a long-form report detailing the composition of the down: the percentage of plumes to feathers, the percentage of quills, even the percentage of broken or damaged feathers (usually 0.1% or lower).
The report also includes the fill power of the down sample.
We guarantee that the down will have at least the fill power listed for that product range. For instance, for Spark sleeping bags, this would be a minimum of 850 cu. in / ounce (or '850+ fillpower')
The IDFL report takes the mystery out of down insulation - it shows you the exact composition and quality of the down inside your particular sleeping bag
