When you first bring your Watercell or Pack Tap home, wash it out with warm water and dish soap, rinse thoroughly, and let it dry completely before storage.
Cleaning tips
- Do not use boiling water. Extreme heat will cause the Pack Tap’s welded seams to fail instantly.
- If warm water and dish soap don’t remove sticky residue (e.g. from fruit juice or wine), do not use bleach – it will leave a lingering taste. Instead, use effervescent peroxide tablets to clean and deodorize.
Drying tips
-
- For a Watercell, hang it upside down using the side lash points.
- For a Pack Tap, position it so the opening faces downward. Use a simple spacer – like a bent wire hanger or the handle of a spoon – to keep the bladder open and allow air to circulate.
Please note: Failure to get either of these products completely dry prior to storage may result in internal mold growth.
