An Alpha or Sigma Pot can be used on a domestic gas or electric stove.
However, the thin-gauge aluminum base of these items will conduct heat much faster than standard cookware. For this reason, it's important to:
- Always use lower heat settings.
- Never allow the pot to boil dry – this can warp the base or cause it to separate from the silicone walls.
