Here are our recommendations:

- Hand washing is definitely recommended over machine washing (see the note below)

- Make sure you close the valve before immersing the pillow in soap and water

- A mild soap is preferable to laundry detergent. If you are washing an Aeros Down Pillow, we would recommend Grangers Down Wash or Nikwax Down Wash

- Spot clean more stubborn stains on the pillow's outer surface using a non-abrasive sponge.

- After washing, rinse the pillow thoroughly.

- Let the pillow completely air dry with the valves open before long-term storage (when you store your pillow, always store it flat with the valve open.

 

Do not put your pillow in a washing machine – the wash and spin cycle may well cause the bladder to become twisted inside the ‘pillowcase’ (if you have a Premium or Down Pillow), or stress the baffle or perimeter welds (if you have an Ultralight Pillow)
