Sea to Summit towels are made from microfiber (either 100% polyester or a nylon/polyester blend). If your towel develops an odor, here are some ways to treat it:
- Damp storage odors: If the towel was packed away damp, a day of hanging in the sunshine should help to eliminate the odor.
- General washing: Wash with normal detergent (avoid fabric softeners) or white vinegar. Tumble dry on low heat (no dryer sheets).

Organic odors: If the smell is caused by organic buildup, it can be neutralized with a product such as Revivex Odor Eliminator (formerly MiraZyme).
