What is the difference between the Bomber Tie Down straps, Bomber Loop Lock straps, and Tie Down Straps with Silicone Cam Cover?

All of these straps utilize UV-stabilized polyester webbing and a secure zinc-alloy cam buckle. They have a number of functional touches that set them apart from conventional cam straps:

• The buckle has a silicone rubber bumper that protects whatever item of outdoor gear you are securing
• The straps have an elastic keeper that holds the rolled-up strap securely, avoiding the 'nest of snakes' effect commonly experienced when multiple tie-down straps are kept in the same box or gear bag
• The straps are color-coded: green = 2m / 6ft, orange = 3m / 10ft. No more guesswork.

The differences between the three:

• The Bomber Tie Down strap is a conventional 'one piece' strap: run the webbing around the item to be secured, feed the tail through the cam buckle, and pull tight.
  
  
• The Bomber Loop Lock strap is a two-piece strap: girth-hitch the longer section of webbing to a rail or rack. Then girth-hitch the shorter section (which includes the buckle) to a rail/rack on the opposite side of your load. Finally, feed the tail of the longer webbing section through the cam buckle and pull tight.
  
  
• The Tie Down Straps with Silicone Cam Covers  are sold in pairs (lengths up to 18ft), and feature a protective cover over the cam, preventing the buckle from scratching your car, boat, or gear while in use
